Shanghai is a city sculpted by the sand of the Yangtze River, so it is very difficult to find a mountain to be a recluse. The rapid industrialization of the city makes our lives even more difficult to stop.
Until a gloomy day at the end of autumn in a vehicle junkyard of Shanghai suburb, I found the hidden extinct mountains and rivers, which were depicted in the landscape paintings of the Song Dynasty in Li Tang's "Wind in Pines Among a Myriad Valleys", Fan Kuan's "Wintry Groves in a Snow Landscape" and Guan Tong's "Waiting for the Ferry".
